Best Buy reduced the price of the Acer Predator XB27OU gaming monitor by $50 on October 23, 2026, bringing the total cost to $329.99. This price cut targets consumers considering an upgrade from standard IPS panels to OLED technology at a lower entry cost.
The display features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Tom's Hardware notes that this QHD resolution is suitable for mid-range gaming systems because graphics cards can typically maintain high frame rates without excessive strain.
Performance specifications center on speed and fluidity. The monitor operates at a 240Hz refresh rate and achieves a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms. Tom's Hardware attributes these figures to the OLED technology, which eliminates the ghosting artifacts common in slower display types.
The screen supports AMD FreeSync Premium, a feature that synchronizes the monitor refresh rate with the game frame rate to prevent screen tearing. Color accuracy is also a primary feature, with the panel rated for 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The unit maintains a Delta E accuracy figure below 2 and supports HDR10, a 10-bit standard that enhances contrast and color depth.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. These inputs allow users to connect a gaming PC and multiple game consoles to the same screen simultaneously.
The reduced price positions the XB27OU as an affordable option for integrating advanced display technology into current setups. Shoppers can purchase the monitor at Best Buy for $329.99.
