Olivia Rodrigo announced the release of her first holiday single, "take me home (4 christmas)," on social media.
The song drops on Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. A music video featuring Rodrigo, Cynthia Nixon, and Saturday Night Live cast member Ben Marshall will release simultaneously.
Rodrigo wrote the track with frequent collaborators Dan Nigro and Amy Allen. Nigro also produced the song.
Fans can purchase the single on digital platforms or in physical formats. An exclusive 7-inch vinyl and cassette are available for preorder on Rodrigo's website.
Target will stock the vinyl on its shelves starting Friday. The retailer allows customers to preorder the physical copy in advance.
This release follows the recent remix of "expectations" featuring Chappell Roan. That track became the highest peaking all-female collaboration on the Billboard Hot 100 this year.
The remix also pushed Rodrigo's album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love back to the number one spot on the Billboard 200.
Rodrigo is currently performing on her The Unraveled Tour. A press release states the tour has sold over one million tickets worldwide and broken several venue records.
