Soundcore's Space 2 headphones fell to $106.49 at Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart on October 23, the lowest price the model has carried. The discount takes $23 off the list price and covers all three color options.
The Space 2 succeeded the Space One, which launched in 2023 and was listed among the best budget noise-canceling headphones by The Verge's John Higgins. The newer model carries a list price $30 above its predecessor. The Space 2's current price sits $30 above what the Space One originally cost.
The headphones use active noise cancellation that suppresses low-frequency sounds such as trains and airplane engines. Soundcore also adjusted the design to produce more accurate sound. The Space 2 supports LDAC high-resolution audio and HearID 3.0, a tool that plays a series of audio samples and adjusts the sound profile to the listener's responses.
Battery life runs up to 50 hours with noise cancellation on, compared with 40 hours on the Space One, and up to 70 hours with it off, compared with 55 hours before. A 3.5mm jack allows a wired connection if the battery runs out. The headphones pause playback when lifted from the head and resume when returned.
The Verge describes the Space 2 as an easy recommendation on the strength of its noise cancellation and sound quality over the original model. The $106.49 price is the lowest the Space 2 has carried.
The sale at the three retailers was listed as active on October 23.
